Rolling and crashing from Falmouth to Fowey
We are moored in the beautiful Fowey river where there is little or no internet to be had, hence the short blog. Today was a rolling sail with large waves lifting us high up like a giant surfboard. Took five hours and the entry to Fowey was dramatic. Large waves at the narrow entrance, a tanker about to turn around in the harbour, a fast yacht sailing behind and two dinghy races in progress in the harbour itself. Nic coped well. Once moored we explored Fowey and loved it to bits, another fantastic yachtie paradise.
